Efficient
Motor, Efficient Pump
eCycle achieves this
improvement by close coupling the innovative SolidSlot™
brushless motor to a high
efficiency hydraulic pump. This eliminates several components traditionally
associated with DC power units, while delivering increased system
performance and efficiency. Most notably, the same performance is often
provided by a SolidSlot brushless motor using only 1/3 the current of a
brushed DC motor.
Further, eCycle brushless motors are often 1/5 the size and mass of such
motors.
Fixed displacement
gear pumps, such as Haldex W900 series, and variable
displacement piston pumps, such as Bosch-Rexroth A10 series, are
recommended.

performance, able to provide OEM customers with a competitive solution. SolidSlot™
is the only motor with built in electronic commutation and soft-start,
enabling it to run directly from a battery. Unlike brush motors,
